BREAKFAST FOR DINNER!!!!
Oat Pancakes (gluten free, fat free!!)
recipe from Whole Foods.com
ingredients:
1 c. oasts
1/2 c. apple sauce
1 T. flax meal plus 3 T. water*
1 T. agave or maple syrup (I used agave)
1 T. oil
*The flax seeds are only an egg substitute!! You may use 1 egg
if you don't have flax seeds!!
1. Combine all, except for the oil, in the blender and puree until smooth
2. Heat the pan on med. heat and add 1/2 of the oil.
3. Make the pancakes by two tablespoons at a time. This makes about
five pancakes
4. Repeat with the other 1/2 of the oil
Serve with more agave for maple syrup! I personally like it with peanut butter and jelly.
