If I could have breakfast for every three meals,
it would be heaven...!
French Toaster Sticks, Veganized!
recipe from VegWeb.com (I added some other stuff though...)
This is the by far, the BEST vegan french toast that I have ever had
in 15 years!!! It's slightly crunchy, with a buttery softness....
Pretty sexy, right?
ingredients:
1/2 c. soy milk
1/2 t. vanilla extract
2 T. oil
1/4 t. salt
1 T. flour
2 T. tapioca flour, or any other starch you might have in hand
3 T. sugar
1/4 t. pumpkin spice
4 slices of wheat bread
1. Combine the first 8 ingredients and mix well
2. Cut each bread into 4 sticks and dip them into the
batter
3. Fry on medium heat until golden brown on each side
Eat with agave, or maple, syrup and with any other condiment you want.
I ate it with peanut butter and jelly, and it was the BOMB!! I had it also
with a side salad 'cause I like salads, and it was lunch time.
